The name Chimichurri (Argentinean Parsley Pesto) pays tribute to the bounty found in the cuisines of Peru, Argentina and Brazil. From the merging of these cuisines to the blending of a lounge-like atmosphere and warm, comfortable dining, Chimichurri’s brings together these key elements to create a memorable experience.

Chimichurri’s will surprise diners with their diverse style; the product of the combination of cultures, flavors and tastes from around the globe. The innovative menu focuses on accenting food’s natural flavors and the creative use of seasonal fruits & vegetables to add color and zest to every meal.

Tony Vasquez and Ronald Perez, Chimichurri’s creators, have spent over two years developing this new restaurant. A primary concern in the creation process was selecting a restaurant design group able to transform a bare-walls space into an “atmosphere” for Kingwood’s newest destination location - Kings Harbor. The end result is a dramatic restaurant that contributes to and reflects its urban neighborhood through dramatic lighting and artistic interpretations of natural elements in the overall design scheme.

Tony’s experiences have allowed him to glean the “best from the best” from the highest quality restaurants the city of Houston has had to offer in recent years like Sonny Look's, The Glass Menagerie, La Tour D'Argent & Chez Nous. His exquisite dining experiences and research have allowed him to cultivate a spectacular style of Contemporary Global cuisine drawing on French, American and Mexican influences with a hint of Pacific Rim to tempt the palate in a totally new and innovative way!

Ronald Perez has worked internationally in the corporate world traveling to over 100 countries. This experience has allowed Ronald to develop a deep knowledge of the different tastes of the world and bring these discoveries directly to your table!

This impressive effort was accomplished with the assistance of several local and international design groups as well which contributed in the research process of a variety of kitchen and restaurant designs from California and New York to Paris and Italy. By visiting the top restaurants in each city, they were able to come up with the contemporary, but warm décor of Chimichurri’s which is pleasing to the spirit and tempting to the tummy!

In a city where the restaurant scene is in full gastronomic swing, Chimichurri’s is an enticing new spot that embodies an inspired cuisine that brings together amazing ethnic influences both on the dinner plate and throughout the entire dining experience.
